GRINDING BURN SEMINARS
Since 2012 imq has been organizing a seminar concerning the topic of “grinding burn” once a year. On-site seminars in companies are conducted as well. Up to now more than 100 engineers and technician have taken the opportunity for exchanging experience. Discussed subjects are causes and occurrence of grinding burn and methods for detection of grinding burn and internal stress of components.
This is complemented by demonstration tests.

Employees intended for the execution of examinations are trained in theory as well as in practical execution of nital-etching. This is connected with a final test in theory and practice.

This was in connection with an employee training and a process audit.
